The info for the NATI grant: toll free # is 1 888-847-0309=The National Asosciation For the Terminaly Ill.To get this grant you will need to talk to you DR.before he/she gets these papers. There is a box that MUST be marked that the grantor has less than a 2 yr. life expectancy. Many DR's are hesitant to fill this out unless you explain to them in advance that by submiting this info you will get more help. There is no consiquence if the client does not die within that two years, so there is no liability involved for the Dr. or the Client.My contact there is Nancy Sims, RN Director of Patient Services.
