| I went on a search for a list on nursing home and found this. It cost but I think it would be well worth the small fee to get a grade report on any type of Home your needing for a loved one. |

| Barb, you don't need to pay anything. Just contact your local Ombudsman group. Seriously, I think that any website that requires you to pay a fee is more likely after your credit card number than the well-being of people in care-facilities. Don't give these people money, please! |

| I posted my reply to the wrong thread!! I need to wake up!! Go to the Medicare site I posted and there you can find all the STATE violations for any nursing home in your area. There should also be a "book" of sorts available at the nursing home with all complaints and violations listed and should be out for public view. |

| Also contact your local Council on Aging, or Senior Center for resourses. The social service dept at a hospital might help also. |
