Healthcare grade guild

I went on a search for a list on nursing home and found this. It cost but I think it would be well worth the small fee to get a grade report on any type of Home your needing for a loved one.

Barb, you don't need to pay anything. Just contact your local Ombudsman group.

Seriously, I think that any website that requires you to pay a fee is more likely after your credit card number than the well-being of people in care-facilities.

Don't give these people money, please!

I posted my reply to the wrong thread!! I need to wake up!!
Go to the Medicare site I posted and there you can find all the STATE violations for any nursing home in your area. There should also be a "book" of sorts available at the nursing home with all complaints and violations listed and should be out for public view.

Also contact your local Council on Aging, or Senior Center for resourses. The social service dept at a hospital might help also.
