Mattress/pad to Prevent Bedsores / Pressure Ulcers

I am a mechanical engineering student at the University of Michigan. My design team is working on a project to design a mattress or pad to prevent bedsores. We are aware of the current bed options and would like to make a product that is both more effective and more feasible for home use.

We are trying to learn more about the people suffering from bedsores, and what the advantages and disadvantages of the current products are.

If you are caring for someone with bedsores, please take our survey to help us learn more about your situation and guide the direction of our project. Please use the link below the message text.

Please let me know if you any questions or comments. Thank you in advance for your input.

I should have also mentioned that the survey above is completely anonymous.
