Pill sorter box

I'm looking for a pill sorter box that holds a weeks worth of pills, with 3 to 4 places to sort pills for each day. I know there's many out there, but I need one that doesn't pop open. I went to fill the box that we presently have, and there was a handful of pills laying on the bottom of the container that the pill sorter box sits in. Maybe that's why my son had a seizure today. I greatly appreciate your help. If you can tell me where you got it that would be helpful. Thanks so much.

The only ones I've seen that are like you describe have a little snap lid on each compartment and don't sit in another container, so you can't spill the other compartments but you could spill the one you are trying to open I suppose.. Have you done a search on google, ebay or amazon?

There are also electronic ones that will only open the door for each dose when it is due, and beeps to remind the person that they have a dose to take. I don't know how much they cost though.

I bought one of these MedReady timer units for my grandmother several years ago. It can be set for 1, 2, 3, or 4 doses daily. Multiple-dosing is not possible as only the current dose is accessible through the hatch. Missed doses can be confirmed because they'll still be in the tray when the locking cover is opened for a look-see.

Here is a link that might be useful: MedReady Timed Pill Dispenser

RE: Pill sorter box

I found one at Walmart. Hold a weeks supply and either one time a day or 3 or 4 times a day. The days are in and cannot be pushed out, and you have to push (easy to do) to open each day It was only about 5.00. I bought one for hubby, but he likes to take each day out. If you see what I describe and don't want to buy one, let me know. Mine has never been opened, still in the original plastic. It is clear with small brown tabs to open each day.
