Live In Caregiver having to give up bed for visiting family
Comments (4)Might have to talk to clients dr. & have the dr. tell family it is too disruptive. Are they at the house all the time or off running around(interested in mom's welfare or free lodging so they can run around town) I can see concerned daughter coming to be sure mom is well taken care of but this doesn't sound much like it. Do the relatives come & buy groceries, make out checks, take mom to dr. etc. If they aren't doing any of that, dr should know to stop the disruption! If they are than more difficult to deal with them, doesn't someone have power of attorney?...See More? about Windows Live OneCare
Comments (8)cboy, I appreciate the help you're providing in this forum. I'm just a lurker who is here to learn and who posts occasionally when it's a problem I've experienced. I would like to make a friendly suggestion which I hope you don't take as being critical. It certainly isn't intended that way. When you post a long URL there are two ways to post it so that future readers of the thread do not have to scroll horizontally back and forth to read the messages in the thread. One is to paste the URL in the optional URL box under your post and put a name for it in the other box. The other is to use a little html which takes very little time and saves readers a lot of scrolling. Here it is: Just type this type name of URL here. For instance if I do this with your long URL in the post above it looks like this: Windows Live One Care link....See Moredon't care about second bedroom but care about losing a closet
Comments (10)So I went back to the condo today with a realtor. I think I could definitely live with the 2nd bedroom now. I would make it into a study. I was disappointed that there is no washer/dryer in the unit but it is right next to the apartment. Of course, that means there would always be folks outside my door. It was on the 20th floor so it had a great view but I was a little weirded out being on a balcony that high up. I was also curious about the windows. They looked old to me and in one window the seal was broken (foggy). I have no idea if/when that would be fixed in a high rise condo. Also, what kind of assessment would that be? It would have to just pots and pots of money. There is now an offer on the place (not mine) but now I know I could live there--preferably on a lower floor. The condo comes with doorman, concierge, gym, pool, dry cleaners and restaurant. It is close to the museum, the main library, and other amenities. Then, I looked at another building in a different area of the city. This building did not have garage parking--I would have to pay 300-400 per month to park. The apartments and the building were in much better condition but of course, the price was higher. This was a one bedroom but I really liked it! So much to consider....See MoreHow to give new Tall Fescue sod the best care - Help!
Comments (17)That's getting a bit low for any real nitrogen uptake. It would do no harm to apply a "wineterizer" type fertilizer. Uncoated, fast release, a high percentage of WSN-water soluable nitrogen, but likely not much benefit. You have been given good advice on lime. You want calcitic lime not dolomitic. If you get pulverized or crushed, you want the highest mesh number you can get and as close to 100 calcium carbonate equivalent as you can find. If pulverized, you will want to use a drop spreader rather than a broadcast spreader. Some unsolicited advice: You do want to get the pH up into the 6s, but 5.9 isn't a major problem by any means. Your potassium on the otherhand is quite low. I'd give potassium priority this fall. It plays a major roll in root health and growth and putting it down now will give it time to move down into the soil and for the salts to wash out before next spring. Potassium and lime should not be applied at the same time. There should be 3-4 weeks between adding them if you decide to do both. You want to find 0-0-50- potassium sulfate SOP. Avoid muriate of potash 0-0-60....See Morecarrie630
