I happened across this forum and wish so much I had known it existed the last couple of years. After two years of constnat care, I lost my mom last September (in between two hurricanes ... we live in FL) What a relief it would have been to have others to talk to about the emotions of taking care of your parent.
I'm so glad for all of you that you found each other. Hang on to one another - it will make a huge difference if you can "vent" |

| Hi Lynn and welcome to the forum... Yes, there is understanding and compassion here. I'm sorry about your mother... May God bless and comfort you. I just finished my first year in December with Mother gone after taking care of her for quite a few years, so I know the pain one goes through. Come and share. ~abreeze |
