This is a non-denominational, free guide to some of the questions and issues to consider about long-term care planning, whether for yourself or for loved ones. It's very well-written, and offers simple but good checklists on the many issues of LTC planning.

jkom51 ~

I am going through some very hard times with my dad's health. He has many issues with his lungs and heart. It is hard for me to know if he is at end-stage dementia. It seems he has all the symptoms of middle-stage and some of end-stage so it is hard to judge. In all honesty, I would say he is at end-stage but he does recognize some folks but doesn't carry on conversations. Once in a while he is more lucid and shares how he is feeling but it doesn't last too long.

I just wanted to thank you for sharing the website on long-term care planning. I have been reading it and, especially, the advice and clarification of dementia.
