I finished putting the border on my birthday blocks quilt today. I am washing the bleached muslin that I will use for the backing. I plan to load it on the frame as soon as it dries and I iron the fabric. Thank you to everyone for the great blocks. I love the quilt! I made a few more blocks so I could make it square (4X4 blocks). I plan to keep this at my house to use when our grandbaby comes to visit. He will be born in March 2012. Happy belated birthday to you🎂. Just another way to extend the celebration!

Hi everyone! I am OK. Thank you for thinking of me, Things have been a bit crazy here. They sold the house and my DD and her girls are living here. The girls go with their dad to his girlfriend's house 3 days a week. (This is killing me.) Sami is in first grade and doing remote school. Today is their 12th anniversary. The divorce is still not final. I will be glad when that is over. I never thought I would say that, but the arguing is awful. I still have my sewing room but not as much time to sew. I have had a quilt on the frame that I started to quilt. (Bonnie Hunter's covid mystery) I need to finish that and move on. Yesterday I made four sewing machine blocks from MSQC. Jenny Doan made a video for this block. I am going to make sewing machine covers with my blocks. I have two old machines that don't have hard covers. They are sitting in my sewing room and I have been wanting to make covers for them. Take care and quilt! Linda OH
