I should have edited it first I guess. I did have one reply from Florence on this particular post, but as I said, it was pulled. Anyway our grandson did come at Christmas to us and we had a great time with him, as well as some good visits with our Daugher Louise and Ryan's cousins. It was a great Christmas. His dad, our son also got permission to have a visit with him at our house. It went very well. Neither Ryan or us had seen him for a few years. We keep in touch with him (Ryan) by phone and a couple of weeks ago visited the foster parents in Victoria who had come to the island for a short vacation. Anyway, after my first posts on this subject, which was received with encouragement and kindness, I just wanted to update you. Will tell more aftr the JDR in Edmonton on 13th March. Pauline

Pastor, You sound so bitter against Rutgers. Marion is a better Rutgers, and also if youÂre disappointed in taste, you may want to go to Fedco to get the real Rutgers. IÂm a salsa/paste maker myself and need to time tomato-pepper harvest with garlic harvest, which is July 10th. 2 weeks after garlic harvest, the bulbs are cured. One of the early tomatoes is Milano Plum and the other is Napoli. The pepper Buran for mild and Early Jalapeno for the medium. Why Buran? Pulling out the frame and just drilling a hole should give you some idea of the thickness of the stucco. Tapcons(r) require at least 1" of the screw into the substrate. My guess is that you're not achieving that. I'd get a longer screw. Mike Here is a link that might be useful: Tapcons

Mmmmmmm doughnuts, lucky you Rachel! (maple frosted is my favorite) I would have killed to have a brother working in doughnut shop when I was younger. I had a great metabolism when I was a teen too. Not til I was around 25 did it turn on me and started gaining weight lol. The girls are still sleeping. I don't expect them to wake up til at least noon. Kayla would sleep til 3pm if I let her. Tomorrow we are bringing her down to my sister's house to live. She will be staying there while she goes to college. It's a community college, no dorms. And to keep this post on a cooking theme, Kayla will be helping out with the cooking also. My sister doesn't cook much but Kayla does. She makes better omelets than I do! We started teaching our kids to cook at an early age. Being in the kitchen with us while we prepare meals. Helping with stirring and mixing when they were real little and then cutting veggies and seasoning meats when they got older. It is an important life skill for young people to know when they get out on their own. My other daughter Ariel who is a Senior this year at college does most of her own cooking there. It's something she enjoys doing too. NancyLouise
