Thanks Spencer, you just gave me an idea... since the 1/2 BA butts up against the back wall of the garage I can just reroute the existing GFCI protected line that currently runs to the BA and connect it to a new single receptacle on the back wall of the garage... then switch that line to the LINE output side of the GFCI. This is easy to do because the drywall has been removed from the wall with the GFCI due to recent Earthquake strengthening. Since I need to keep power to the upstairs baths during this reno I can temporarily connect the new home run line to the existing garage GFCI since its only a couple of feet from the panel. It will get routed to the panel when the rest of the new circuits are added.

The drain "collar" in my bath tub is almost completely corroded and there are black spots under what may be plumber's putty. I thought it would be a simple "remove the drain and replace it with a new one" type of job. Great, I can do that myself. But this morning, after Googling, the drain part I see may need accessories that should be used to connect to the drain pipe. My home is on a cement pad with skirting around it. If things need to be connected then a plumber will need to crawl underneath; no way would I consider this something I could do and do it right.

I think the following sherwin williams colors are good options: light French gray comfort gray classic French gray frostwork Dorian gray I hope you find a good color!

Thank you @houssaon . Its so much easier to see now. I think the same size would be ideal but concerned that the window will be to big given the size of the wall which is 5'11". If that isn't possible do you have any other suggestions for a window?
