Nancy....I'm not a newbie to growing violets, just a self taught grower. Never thought about dividing a double crown until this forum, so thanks to you guys, I now have 15 violets instead of the 14 I had this morning. LOL Donna....thanks for the link. Okay, thank you. A couple may be shriveling a little. I'll go ahead and cut them if they aint looking better tomorrow. But all of them have at least some rigid parts. On a brighter note, my first brug should open the first of its fith flush tonight. I counted about 90 buds on it. Everything has grown like crazy since I been gone. I probably have 300 calamansi fruits developing. Just picked two grocery bags slam full of brandy wine tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. Five egg plants (eggplant parm, sunday).Two yellow watermellons will be ready any day now. You wont believe what just happened to me. I was outside talking to the neighbor lady when a dern cicada killer, with a cicada, ran up my leg and parked on my junk for a while before he decided to fly away! I dern near crapped my pants :( She is 95 years old. I'm pointing at my stuff going "omg do you see this!" She couldn't see that monster (the cicada killer, I mean :) She musta thought I was crazy. Oh yeah, I forgot to thank you for the letter and thank you Lucy, for the card. Oh yeah the blackberry lily bloomed this morning. It is beautiful. I hope these cuttings make it. I would hate for yall to have gone through all that trouble for nothing. Either way I am very grateful. Alright gotta go do yard work. Talk to yall later

Hi Julie, I'm a pretty new arrival too, and never really introduced myself- so hi everybody! I've been fairly active in the hydrangea forum, but not really anywhere else. It's awesome to have access to such great local gardening knowledge, which can be hard to come by online.
