Dimension for the front porch curved truss, looking at 22' L, 8/12 pitch, 6x6" curved resting on 8x8" timber. We are hoping it will be affordable!

Prices would fairy wildly depending on where you are. Get several quotes. Where are you in the country? If you have the 'exact' size, you could get quotes outside of your area.

We are in Kansas and are open to gong outside of our area. Looking for information on good suppliers that are reasonable priced that we could get quotes from.

We did something similar, although ours are straight beams, not curved, and we used locally harvested and milled cypress. Cypress is usually cheaper than cedar. I don't think it grows in KS. but not sure. However, I'm in a state fairly close to you and it grows here.

We are also looking for the same thing in the Ohio area. We may have to resort to laminated beams with cedar wrap.

Eliminate the curves and save $$$. I'd expect the quotes to be 30-40K with the curves. Not as much without.

You called it...preliminary bids $35,000-50,000. Thinking we may be making some design changes!

anyway, heavy decorative timber work like that should be made from kiln-dried material. In those dimensions KD is hard to find.
So if the timberframe shop is doing it right, the material isn't going to be cheap.
