Shingle Color Question

This was the inspiration home we used when having our home designed. Our home will look very similar. We plan to use the same or very similar exterior colors. It's time to choose our shingles now and I found out the shingles used on this inspiration home (tamko weathered wood) are not available in Idaho where we're building. My options are Certainteed, IKO, and Owens Corning. I really love the tamko on this home and would like to use something very similar. Does anyone have suggestions or recommendations for me of what would look good in my available shingle brands? A couple I'm considering are Certainteed Moire Black or Certainteed driftwood but I don't think either one are as good as the tamko weathered wood color.

I would be fairly certain that most manufacturers all make a color that would be dam near identical to Weathered Wood. I know IKO does for a fact and GAF does as well.

I have looked at both IKO's and Certainteed's Weatherwood. They look a little more brown to me whereas the Tamko weathered wood has more dark gray tones.

We chose Tamko Weathered Wood. I took a picture today with the sun shining. Our roof shingles look like they have more brown in them than the picture you posted.

Our roof looks pretty much like the sample we got. Have you gotten any board shingle samples yet? We got several before making a decision. We put them in the sunlight and in the shade and put all our exterior siding and trim samples next to the shingles to see how they all blended.
