Interior door hardware with rosettes?

I have selected a Baldwin knob with a rectangular rosette (approximately 5" high) for the interior doors in our new home. My question is, do I use the rosettes on EVERY door in the house, including closet doors? Or are they used only on primary doors? Thanks in advance for any insights.

I do not think there are any laws concerning this. Use them anyway you like. If cost is a factor than it seems like you could use them on only the doors visible from the public spaces.
