Great question and link. This should be more of a priority for all those building new homes. You dont really have to have an air exchange system which implies HRV/ERV but all new homes should have some type of outdoor air introduction and the balanced strategy with recovery is seen as the best way. There is no such thing as "too tight". The problem with most crap being built is not nearly tight enough.
