French doors in hostile environment.... Marvin or other brand?

Hi,

We have a 2nd floor mb which currently has a marvin french door that opens out to a look-out deck. This is failing after 15 years (leaks badly in storms). We want to replace it with another french door. We live on maine coastal waterfront, with extreme conditions during northeast storms. Initially I was thinking that we would go with another marvin french door and install a storm doors for winter months, but we recently did an addition which is in a pretty sheltered spot of the house and we installed a brand new marvin french door. This new marvin french door: blows open if you do not take the effort to really make sure it is securely closed, feels like wind is blowing thru all the sides during the night and day. My question is: based on the experiences with this new marvin door should we go with another brand? And does marvin no longer have the quality and dependability as it did in years past? and if so, what brand should we consider?

Thanks for any input!
