Exterior siding color is gold- what color columns?

So we've chosen our exterior siding and roof color, need to choose the column color. I'll show the color on a couple other houses near us:

The first house shows the color more true to life, but the second house is more similarly styled to ours. (however we have a side load straight garage rather than a front load angled one) Also I think we are going with the board and batten all the way around the house, shakes up in the gables.

So my question is which color column, stained or white? I think white would be better, what do you think?

I like stained columns, but looking at the pictures and your house color, I would definitely go white! The first picture with the stained columns, you can't even tell what they are from a distance :(

Definitely white! Is it possible to provide a link to the floor plan of the second house? I like it!

I'm sorry I don't have the floor plan. Although the exterior looks close to ours, I have no idea how they laid out the interior. Here is a link through my builder's website that has a few pics, maybe that will help a little.
