I'm not familiar with the brand, we used Davis, I think it was. It was a bag of powder mixed in the concrete truck, so well mixed and an even color (aside from variations induced by the troweling, etc.) Other methods are applied on top, if you want the more mottled look.

That sounds like the process my builder is proposing. Do you have any photos of your concrete?

I sent one directly to you via my phone. Ignore the patio furniture we are currently sitting on! I may have others at home.

I don't recall the color we used off-hand. We just shifted the color slightly warmer from what I'd call "sidewalk," or un-tinted. I don't think you can tell there is color added unless I tell you and you look closely in person.
