is my copper gutter installation sub par?

I had a 6 inch half round copper gutter installed and have some concerns about the work done. Because we have no soffits the gutter was screwed into blocks of wood every two feet attached to the beam under the steeply pitched roof. I noticed that the installer used only two copper screws in the hanger fittings that were designed for four. (The asphalt shingled roof has no ice guards so damming is a special concern, if that's relevant to the weight these gutters may be carrying.) He also cut the downpipes about a foot from the ground to meet the newly installed pvc drains which were sticking up. The effect is like white knee socks. It seems like it would have been simple enough to cut the plastic drain pipes lower or have a copper fitting that could go over the plastic?. Finally, I can't get him back to install leaf strainers at the top of the leaders. Which if any of these issues do I have a right to be annoyed about?
