| For those of you following our build time-lapse videos, I finally have an update. This brings the project to about 2-3 weeks ago. I have another I'll post soon, which includes the fully roofed garage.
Lots going on in this video, though, not just roof. I even messed up and missed an entire rock-wall build - I'll send stills of that later. Sadly, my new cheap camera, for dubious weather, etc., doesn't shoot nearly as nicely as my DSLR, but, oh well. You can still appreciate the progress. The old videos, posted earlier, copied here for ease of access:

Double, These are such fun to watch - thank you for posting. For those of us interested in doing the same thing, have you posted a "how to"?

I think I'll work on a how-to after all is said and done and I can maximize my contribution there. For instance, I'd like to figure out how to improve the quality of the videos taken by my cheap time-lapse camera, to make those much closer in quality to my DSLR, especially in changing lighting. It may be impossible, but I want to give it a shot. I'll try to put together a how-to in a couple of months. Thanks for the encouragement.

That would be kind of you doubletagger. Do the GC and subs mind it at all?

Do they mind my "filming" them? No, probably in part b/c things move too fast to make out specific goings-on. :) But I'm on site almost constantly with them, too, working, so they've already got their worst audience, in a way. Actually, we get along great. The builder and crew really are exceptional.
