Do you not like cylinder looking candles? Or not exposed bulb candlesticks looking lights?

What about one of the large frosted glass hanging bowl-style lights? I think they are called something else but I can't think right now. See below for style example only:

That's not bad. I would just need to find something similar that is a little less expensive.

What size? They have these everywhere from Lamps Plus, Fancy shops, to Home Depot and the like. The pricier versions are often larger than the cheaper ones are available in. Pricepoint and décor style?

Looking to spend up to $200 and our style is a little more contemporary.

I just found Ballard Designs Orb and saw that Crystorama had a similar design that I could probably get cheaper through a lighting store. Would it look okay as an entry light? And if so, what size of light to get?

The lantern-look and the bowl-of-metal-bands concept are both trendy right now. IF you go trendy, I'd suggest looking for an inexpensive knock-off because today's trendy is tomorrow's dated. Lights aren't that tough to change, so if you love it, go for it.

I think I'd like to have a Moravian star hanging fixture for the entryway -- it's fancy, but traditional.

However, I'll probably go practical: Since I am very short, I'm trying to stick to on-the-wall sconces as much as possible. I do hate dragging out stools or whatever to change the lightbulbs.
