Wouldn't a round rose look terrible next to this?.....

My regular interior knobs are round, but we are doing a cremone bolt on our double doors leading into the master bedroom (on one door only). So, would a round knob and round rose on one door that closes into an egg knob with a rectangular backplate look odd?

Yes. I think if I were you, I'd try to at least find an egg knob, rather than the round one, to be the partner for just this door.

"Matchy-matchy" isn't the be-all and end-all it once was. I second the egg idea.
