Running Cable to House

Do cable companies charge to run cable from the street to your new house? Our development requires that they be underground. Our house will be about 60-70 feet from the street.

In our area, the cable company is only responsible up to the vault, or street connection. The homeowner is then responsible for any connections from that point to the house. In our case it was also about 60+ feet.
