The finished wall will look lovely onto a wonderful woodland scene.

However, there's lots of unnecessary framing, such as the triple studs (post) over the middle window, let alone the five studs on the sides of the windows. Obviously, no thought given to thermal aspects. Massive thermal bridges means your whole wall R values will be very low, unless you're planning some exterior insulation.

Anyway, too late to change. But structurally, solid as can be.

There is no middle window. There will be two windows on either side of a fireplace at about the second floor level. The middle area will be where our fireplace will be. The builder plans on boxing it out into the room in order to give it sides and to have some dimension. Perhaps that explains the extra studs? The firebox will be at the floor level. The whole fireplace will be stoned all the way up to the ceiling. We live in southeastern NC. We are paying extra for spray foam insulation. All I know is the builder said that our roof and sheathing will go up and then he uses felt backing over that.
