Standard practice. I presume your "driveway" is not yet in. When it's being prepared, the leftover concrete will be taken to landfill with the rest of what's going out.

What bothers me are the large trucks that track clods of mud around whole neighbourhoods after leaving an infill building site. I've assisted inspectors in tracking them down. And, when it was my own site, I've wielded a mean shovel and wheelbarrow when necessary. A hundred years ago, men with shovels and barrows on the streets were a lot more common!

We have an 850 foot long by 10 feet wide gravel driveway. We are not planning to pave it.

I don' t think they will be hauling any of this away unless they want to take my dirt with them. It was a 5 foot wide by 10 foot long gray puddle of ooze with a little gravel mixed in.

Well, that's a different story. Pretty thoughtless. But if you're getting a final grading, not much for a quick Bobcat burial.

Wow... even in our podunk town, they sent one of the guys to the Wal-Mart to buy baby pools. They were out by the edge of the field.

Around NC and SC, the builder will usually use silt fence to make a 5x5 ish dumping ground for the truck remnants and washout. Easy for a bobcat to dump in the last dumpster.
