Yes, he can. I think that will help with the walk through of our final plans. The trick will be something she can touch and feel to get the process started.

I've very visual too, but I'm not sure how an architect will be able to walk you through a house if he is designing one specifically for you. There wouldn't be another house out there like it. Does your builder or the architect you are using have some houses you can walk through?

What I would recommend is to go to open houses and parade of homes to figure out what sizes and spaces work and won't work for you. I also went through and measured all of the rooms in our current house, so I knew what spaces I had already. This helped with knowing what I wanted to change or leave the same.

Utilizing pinterest and houzz, along with a visual walk through, worked well for me. I also used an app called Mood Board to put together different paint colors, fixtures, etc.

I do understand how different going from paper to an actual house is. It's been interesting to me to see how it changed.
