We are building a new house and have opted half stone and half Hardieplank for the siding. Now we are thinking to add stone water table on front elevation. The pricing from the builder is $100 per lineal feet and they said that the price already backed out the credit for Hardie. I know that Hardie is also very expensive and additional $100 per lineal feet to upgrade from Hardie to stone seems very high to me. But I am not sure. Can you guys tell if this is reasonable? Thanks a lot!
