Construction Loan Question

I'm looking for a one time close construction-to-perm loan for a new custom home a builder will build for me near San Antonio. Can anyone suggest possible resources? Garden Web has been so helpful in the past, so I appreciate any help.

Start with local banks and credit unions. Those offered the best deals in my area.

while they are not in San Antonio, they loan all over the state. We used them for a refi and really enjoyed working with them. Check out Baker Mortgage in Houston

Also in San Antonio - have been told that Randolph-Brooks credit union is a good resource. We are not at the loan stage yet, so I haven't investigated.
