Online Construction Video's

I recently found a website that has numerous construction video's that can be viewed online (for free). Its directed more towards "high wind" area's of the country, but there's also video's on house wrap, mold, moisture control, plywood vs OS&B, Impact-Resistant Windows, Design Do's and Don'ts, Storm Shelters and more. I've watched several of them and find them to be VERY informative.

The Online Training Center is presented by LaHouse Resource Center and the Louisiana State University AgCenter.

I hope you enjoy the video's as much as I have.

I agree with you ogoopogo. I'm also an owner/builder/DIY'r and I found the video's to be very informative.

Actually, I'm kinda surprised that no one has commented on the videos other than you. Maybe I should have given it a different title. If you thought it was SPAM, maybe others do also.

These videos contain lots of information that's hard to find elsewhere on the net, and they truly are FREE to view online. Some of the videos are about 30 minutes long, others are less.

Even if you are not a DIY'r, the knowledge you gain from these video's can help you make better decisions when talking with your builder.

I've been searching for this kind of information for a long time, not knowing that the college in my home town of Baton Rouge had it all along.

Some other titles include Insulations, Vented & Non-Vented Attics, HVAC, Water heating, SIPÂs, Mold & mold prevention, and more.

I haven't commented because I'm working under some tight deadlines and haven't had time to view them. But, rest assured I will, because that's EXACTLY the kind of video I've been looking for all along. And we have a GC doing our build. I just want to know what's going on.
