That's not a house. That's a room in a house.

That's one room in an older estate sized house!

I remember reading the blog of that house... someone linked it somewhere- on a the "do these lights match?" thread maybe? I cannot remember. But it is a new construction home (finished in late 2010 or 2011) using a lot of recycled/older materials. There are pictures of the actual house on the blog but I cannot remember the name of the blog and I also am not informed enough to make a distinction about what kind of house it is...

" i love the big windows and doors."

??
All I see are interior and exterior doors. Is there another photo I am missing?

That is not the house of the Things that Inspire blogger. It was on her blog about the use of interior shutters. There is no way to tell from an interior room what style a house is :)

My guess would be french on the exterior, given the deep window wells that allow for the shutters . . .

ok athensmom, someone posted to that (maybe it was another forum) as though it was her house. I would also guess french.
