Ultra Violet Light : Wood furniture

I am not sure if thiis the correct forum for this but I have a question about windows.

Our house is finished and we recently bought a piano. For a number of reasons the piano is near a south facing window so that sunlight shines on it.

We would like to reduce the UV ultra violet light hitting the piano to protect the color, it is a mahogany wood piano.

I was wondering if any one has used Gila Window films from Home Depot? The parent company is Solutia, and they are based in St. Louis, Missouri.

Many thanks, Mike.

Before installing the window film, check to see if it voids the warranty on your windows.
