About to make some final decisions on our exterior and wanted to get some input.

I'm crazy in love with T J's Monticello and Williamsburg.

We ended up going with an architect friend who designed a farmhouse ish type home with a 40 foot front porch.
Our foundation is poured with Old Virginia Brick on exterior of foundation and my hubby chose Carolina Beaded vinyl siding.

Might there be something else I should consider if going for a home that doesn't look new and says "Virginia" moreso than this vinyl choice?

Also, if we stay with the vinyl siding, which I'm sure budget wise and since its already planned we will be doing...What color besides white?

My brick choice has been delivered and is called Walnut Grove.
