Availability may be regional, but we are using Timberland mdf doors in our new build in Florida. Very similiar look to trustile, but a better price point.

We used Masonite MDF panel doors. They were quite a bit less than the Trustile. Don't confuse with the Masonite Molded panel doors. We are very happy with ours. In fact, we have a friend who is using them in her build because she liked ours so much. Good balance between budget and aesthetics I think . . .

Bolection makes a nice MDF drop routed door as well.
