Hi Folks,
I downloaded or ordered 5 different trial house plan software programs.
They ranged from a $2500 program to a $39 program.
I used the $39 program for 9 days now and created or modified and saved 24 plans.
The clear winner is Home Plan Pro. It has a 30 days trial and I will be finished designing my home well before that, but I will pay the $39 anyway.
Anyone else use this program?
It is unbelievable how many times I changed this plan and/or totally redesigned it. Like yesterday I checked my friend's house he is building next door to my future home. He is a year ahead of me.
At the front he has blocks 48" high tapering down to one in the back.
Because this is intended to be our last home I am planning for wheel chairs, etc. like required for my wife's deceased parents. I had to totally redesign it to accommodate a power chair for the stairs going into the garage. That required a TOTAL plan redo. Think it is complete as on this morning at 3AM. Hopefully.
