Any ideas on problem area?

Our builder is concerned about this spot where the roof lines come together.
Gutter guy doesn't think they can get it easily and there's potential for the water to run down the ridge into the wall.
The garage is set back 4 ft.
We like the off set, but don't want a problem with water in the future.
Should we pull it flush with the rest of the house or turn it and put a gable? I can't stand the big expanse of roof with out a dormer or a gable. I don't really want more dormers b/c I don't want it to be the same all the way across.
