Hi all. Just looking for some feedback. We have decorative brackets that are going under the new overhang on our garage. Builder is suggesting that we notch them out around the siding and use j channel around them. If they are just put against the house they don't sit flush against the siding. As a matter of fact the bottom of the bracket just kind of hangs in the air because it is a point where the siding is close to the house and does not project out. What do you think? Thanks
