| I posted in flooring,but didn't get many responses.
We upgraded the stairs, all oak, stained to match the foyer floor, (3 1/4 planks, coffee bean stain). No carpet on the landing, turned stairs. In the future the spindles will be changed to iron. Double bullnose railing. It comes with a runner, but I am thinking of not putting it on. Have 2 boys, 6yr, 8yr. Current stairs are wood, with carpet runner.
Thanks!

| I read this same concern in another post about slippery stairs. They wanted hardwood without the carpet but wanted to make them safer. I have attached the thread. Someone suggested the use of Bona Traffic Anti-Slip. Might want to look into it. |
