Here is a link to the same house without the upstairs den. This is the 55 Shenandoah plan by Our Town Plans. I love the vaulted ceiling in the great room and the windows. I keep imagining what it would look like with lighter, whiter interior design choices...it is a beautiful house. The only thing that might bother me is the size of the kitchen. Otherwise, perfection!

Loved looking at it. How are you finding these properties? I think I like the house without the vaulted ceiling. Imagine what you could do with that upstairs room. Definitely lighter finishes.

I showed these virtual tours to dh and he wondered if the screen porch would block the water views from inside the house.

What do you think? Our lake house now is crap!y but the views are wonderful. I would hate to make a mistake and obscure my views but wouldn't that porch be great?
