Searching for building lots (soil/slope Qs)

We are looking at purchasing a 3-5 acres lot in NE Pennsylvania to construct our new home. We have found some wooded lots that check a lot of our boxes but one in particular is very densely wooded and the soil is classified as OxD (Oquaga extremely stony loam with 8-25% slopes) the acreage is 3.5 and there is actually a relatively fair amount of flat/plateau land that would seem large enough for our project - that section has a more gentle slope at 6.5% We have a builder friend who often builds on raw/wooded lots so he is going to walk the land with us to see if it's even worth pursuing. Electric is at the street but we would need on lot sewage and a well. There are other houses along this section of road/wooded acreage so that makes us hopeful that it may be do-able but we certainly don't want to be fighting Mother Nature with water and erosion as the property to the rear (beyond what we would own is a very steep wooded hill) we were able to hike it but it was steep terrain. Land was previously perced in a few spots - passing. Any thoughts, suggestions or questions we need to be asking would be greatly appreciated!
