My wife and I are in the process of buying a lot for a build next year. We are working with an architect currently. My wife works for a plumbing wholesaler and we can buy all of our plumbing fixtures, toilets, tubs from her company at cost. I don't need a plumbing allowance as I will be purchasing these items outside the contract. Do I let the GC know upfront or wait until they come back with their bids? Any feedback is appreciated. This is my first house build so I am not sure how to handle.
