We are in the closing stages of drying it in and when the workers started putting the ply wood on the roof. It doesn't look big enough for me. They still have to add the porch pitch to tie in but right now it isn't looking like what I wanted. Most of the houses I built my house after used a 10/12 pitch. I relayed this to the builder but The contractor /builder went with a 8/12 instead and told me it would look the same. Dummy me went along with it and now I'm regretting ever bit of it. We are adding 3 dormers to the roof and I feel like it isn't going to look right with them and that small of a roof. I couldn't tell when the rafters were going up it was going to look like that. But when they added ply wood it stood out to me. I'm in a dilemma. Am I over worrying about something this small and would it make that much of a difference?
