This is the front elevation. Excuse the red ink from our toddler :/

Our garage door and shutters will be different - i think. But what I need help on now is what to put over the windows in the gable. The gabled wing is cream stucco, the swoop roof front door wing is the same. The big roof part is brick painted cream, and the garage wing is hardiboard. The dormers are stucco. The garage wing is 70 feet from the street so you won't really notice it.

Anyway, should we put a beam in the stucco over the windows in the shape of the jack arches that are over the windows in the brick wing? and paint it the same blue gray as the windows or the same as the stucco, cream, or stain it the same as the front door? I'm undecided, however, on whether we will paint or stain the door.

If not a beam, a stucco band in the shape of the jack arches?

For this house, I think the flush look of beams in stucco, rather than a band sticking out will look better. What say you? Also, are we talking about a huge difference in price? Just curious
