Just wanted to see how others positioned lights and trim on their tray ceilings.
Thanks

I know there are quite a few posters over on Decorating who have tray ceilings. It might be worth posting over there too.

This is the example I am using for our tray ceilings in our master. Hope this helps!

Google is also a good source. I see lots of photos of tray ceilings on here. Check 'em out!

I built a home that is for sale at: www.sellwithshell.net. Go to 'featured properties', clubhouse circle ($600000). They have only 1 photo (in the bedroom) of a unique tray ceiling. I have these 'layered design' ceilings throughout the downstairs.

I don't own the house now, so I can't get other photos for you. they really add class to a home and really don't cost anything extra to do.

Not the best pic and it doesn't show the lighting. It wasn't up at the time. There is a chandelier down in the sitting area in front of the windows and a ceiling fan in the center of the tray. HTH!

Househappy- I saw the pics of your room on another post.
Your house is beautiful. I really like the choice of colors and your moulding. Exactly what I had pictured for ours.
Thanks

Thanks ellied. I will be posting more pics later this week of the finished product. We should close on Friday. I'm glad you love it!
