Impossible to tell the length of the room with that photo.

The room on the other side can be whatever you want it to be.

If you could post regarding what the existing conditions you have to build in are, and what the room use is, I am sure you could get some input.

Based upon the door sizes I would estimate the back wall of the front room is about 16' wide, and with a standard door height of 6'8", the ceiling height is under 7'6". This looks like basement reno..

Yes, this is a basement renovation -- which is what I am wanting to do for my own basement in order to make a 1BR in-law unit. I like this design. This would be the bedroom. I think this picture is taken from the corner of the room and so maybe it is about 15'-16' across (along the door side) like people are saying and maybe 13'-15' deep? -- and maybe another 12' after the French doors? (I know it's hard to guess). I like the french doors and the connecting areas between the bedroom and the living room. Anywho, thanks!
