| Hello everyone!
We are beginning to build the Donald Gardner Derbyville ( http://www.dongardner.com/plan_details.aspx?pid=2799 )and are looking for others who have done the same. Specifically, we would love to see a picture taken from the front door, looking toward the back of the home. We are having concerns about the railing that turns along the back side of the stairs. If you have a picture like that of your Derbyville home, or ANY other image you'd like to share of a similar plan we would love to see it. We are in the beginning stages (basements in!) and are gathering all sorts of ideas. Thank you, in advance, if you have anything to share. |

| We're currently in the process of building the Derbyville. We're about a month and a half from completion. If it's helpful, you can view pictures throughout the our process from the link below. If you have any questions, feel free to forward them on. I can also take a picture from a specific angle if that's helpful. Nathan |

| Nathan, Your house looks beautiful. my wife and I just purchased the derbybville plans and we are in the process of choosing our contractor. If there is anything that you can think of that you really liked about the house or if there was anything you would change, we would greatly appreciate it. Or if you could just give us some tips that helped you your beautiful home. THanks and hope to hear from you in the future! |

| Corey, Sorry for the belated reply. For some reason, I didn't get notified of the post. We love the house and need to post some final pictures. We did make a few small changes and the only regret that we've had so far is the size of the living room. I'd really look at the room size with furniture and determine if it meets your needs or if it should be larger. Keep in mind that if you use the kitchen counter as a bar top, you'll need room for bar stools. If you build a fireplace, it takes up even more space. I hope that helps. If I can help in any way with pictures or info, please let me know. Nathan |

| Nathan, We are making some changes to the Derbyville plan now and hope to start Construction in 90 days. The living room size has been on my mind as we are planning everything out. Could you email a couple pictures of your living room to me? I plan to enlarge the living room some, but i'm not sure how much more space I will need. I think seeing how yours turned out with furniture may help. The kitchen countertop will be designed to have the bar stools facing the breakfast nook rather than the living room so that may help some. Your input would be greatly appreciated. My email is garyhuffman@gmail.com. Thanks, |
