We are starting our build but we had to level our lot first (still in the process of doing so). We also had to build our pool before our house (if house went first, we couldn't get to the pool with all of the equipment needed to build one).

Our gunite went in a few days ago. So exciting! As I said before we had to build up the lot... ten feet using large blocks (aka butter sticks) and fill. The pool went in next. Now we still have to build up another six feet to the pool's edge. It has been a long and arduous process and we haven't even poured the concrete foundation yet for our home. I hope you do not mind my sharing this process even though we do not have a house yet to show!
