Basement/Foundation Pool

We're supposed to start framing next week, and we have the basement poured and complete. However, we've had a ton of rain this week and I've got inches of water in the basement right now.

Anyone know how to drain this out? Obviously there's not a sump pump installed yet and the basement floor drain is sealed to prevent debris from getting in as well. I'm guessing opening up the floor drain and getting a portable pump might be one way to do it?

buy a continuous sump pump and hose, plug in, stand back.

Your contractor should be dealing with this however...

That's what I figured. I'm the GC :)

Stopped by this morning and after a relatively dry night it's actually not as bad as I thought. If we get a dry weekend I'm thinking it may just evaporate on it's own.

No offense, given this question and your response, you sound quite inexperienced to be undertaken the GC responsibilities for your home. . .

Haha, thanks for the input :) I'm totally inexperienced, but it's going quite well so far. This isn't exactly rocket science. Asked about this item mostly to see if anyone had any tips I might not have thought of. In my original post, you'll notice I already have a decent solution in mind if it actually ends up being a problem.
