Interior Trim/Door Questions

Hi everyone. Long time lurker but first post.

My husband and I will be breaking ground on a new home soon. I have been looking on houzz and went thru several Parade Homes in my local area to get ideas. I know I want white trim but keep flip flopping between white doors and stained doors.

All interior doors will be solid core - 3 panel. Kitchen cabinets are white with a dark stained kitchen island. Flooring will be hardwood - medium stain. Not sure of what type of wood yet.

What is more economical, painted doors or stained? I'm assuming the actual doors will cost less if I paint them but the labor cost of painting vs stained may be more. Is that a correct assumption?

If I go with stained, how do I determine the type of wood for the doors? Do I match the wood with the wood in the hardwood floor?

If I'm having a mixture of woods throughout the house (various furniture pieces, master bath will have a dark wood, main bath will not be as dark) - would it be best to go with white painted doors?

Your advice is appreciated!
