Need a sample contract for subs when GCing

Help! We are doing our own GCing and having a hard time finding a contract that we can use with the subs. Most of the contracts I found online seem to protect the sub more than us. Anyone willing to share a sample of what you used?

Why would you need a contract for the subs? I know alot of GC's in this area that don't have contract for their sub and I built a house(OB) a few years ago and I didn't use contracts for the subs. Unless it's something very detail like detail woodwork, you really don't need a contract.

I don't have a sample to suggest, however I do think it is important to use some sort of contract. When I remodeled my kitchen I used the contracts provided to me by each contractor, and worked out modifications as needed.

Seemed to work well that way, most people have a contract to sign before they begin work in any case.
