 o
fireplace question

Many questions within this question. We are set to have 2 fireplaces in our new build. One in the living room which we envision to be the centerpiece to the room, and one in the master bedroom. However, we really like the heat and glo true (formally he escape). if we choose this it will put us over budget unless we get rid of the bedroom fireplace. I have always wanted a bedroom fireplace and am not sure what to do. Another option would be to get a heat and glo 8000 series which would allow us to keep the bedroom fireplace and stay within budget.

I'm not sure how often we would use the bedroom fireplace and if it is worth it. But I'm also not sure if it is worth spending the extra money for the heat and glo true vs. the 8000 series. We will be doing a natural stone surround, floor to ceiling around the fireplace, not sure if we would notice the difference between the two heat and glo's years from now.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks.

RE: fireplace question

I'm not familiar enough to know what the difference is between the 2 to help you decide. I think it's which do you want more and which will get used most often...
